My dad just returned his Ford Explorer and is on the lookout to lease a new one. He previously made clear that this drive was a little taxing on his back and also that the engine capacity was more than he wanted… So he's looking for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it must be Offroader because he enjoys mountain biking, etc… and this is the solitary capacious car in the family, I used his car quite a few times to move possessions around because I own a Toyota Prius and my wife a Beetle.

Anyway, the price range; it's definitely under US $28k after taxes plus fees.
He did like the Mazda CX7, but it's way too inefficient when it comes to muscle, the Turbo edition has superb engine capacity and handles great, but for the price he opines he can get something else.
He received a wonderful bargain at turbocharged 4-cylinder engine 200-hp 2.0-liter Volkswagen Passat … but he has a dependability concern in view of the fact that our Audi A6 and VW Beetle were regulalrly having problems. I recommended that through a 24-month contract he shouldn't have any troubles (as opposed to driving the Audi just as he did for over 5 years).
We also though about the contemporary Kia Sorento, a very enjoyable vehicle, you can smell excellence all over when you sit down inside… He also said that he would have bought the vehicle already if not for the extremely irritating salesman… I feel after taxes it gets to $28k or so, however he does seem to be fond of the vehicle very much.
I feel he prefers the Toyota RAV4 , I'll get him to inspect it out, its price seems within reach.
Any propositions? k to k or so? The Volkswagen Tiguan seems like a piece of shit and as a result I asked him not to trouble checking that, and the Murano is too pricey.
